Megan Hepner is program coordinator for the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System at the University of California, San Diego, Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She recently graduated with a master's in marine science from the University of South Florida, College of Marine Science, where she worked as a graduate assistant on the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network.
