Theodore G. Schurr is a postdoctoral scientist in the Department of Genetics, Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, San Antonio, Texas. He has spent the last 12 years investigating the genetic prehistory of Asia and the Americas through field and laboratory studies of mtDNA and Y-chromosome variation in Asian, Siberian and Native American populations.
