Mimi Sheller is professor of sociology and director of the Center for Mobilities Research and Policy at Drexel University. She is a founding coeditor of the journal Mobilities, past president of the Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility, and author of Mobility Justice: The Politics of Movement in an Age of Extremes.
