
Donald McGraw
Donald J. McGraw is associate provost and adjunct in biology at the University of San Diego. Since receiving his Ph.D. in biology from Oregon State University, Corvallis in 1976, he has actively pursued a program of research primarily in two areas: the history of microbiology and of antibiotics, and the history and biology of Giant Sequoias. A member of the Tree Ring Society, he has spent a total of 14 seasons as a ranger-naturalist with the U.S. National Park Service in California and Arizona.
