
Zenobia Jacobs
Zenobia Jacobs is an archaeologist and Senior Research Fellow in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences@the University of Wollongong. She received her Ph.D. in 2004 from Aberystwyth University and established an optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating laboratory@the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Pretoria before moving to Australia. Her primary interests involve developing OSL dating methods for sand-sized grains of quartz and applying them to questions concerning modern human evolution in Africa.
