Wendy M. Williams is a professor in the Department of Human Development@Cornell University, where she founded and directs the Cornell Institute for Women in Science, a research-outreach center focusing on empirical analysis of women’s scientific careers. She is coauthor with Stephen J. Ceci of The Mathematics of Sex: How Biology and Society Conspire to Limit Talented Women and Girls (Oxford University Press, 2010).
