Timothy Paul Smith is an assistant research professor of physics@Dartmouth College. He was previously head of software development for the Bates Large Acceptance Spectrometer Toroid (BLAST) Project@the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is still involved in the BLAST Project and related work@the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Virginia. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Massachusetts@Lowell in 1990.
