Harold A. Mooney is Paul S. Achilles Professor of Environmental Biology and a senior fellow by courtesy@Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies@Stanford University. He is the author of The Globalization of Ecological Thought (Ecology Institute, 1998) and is the editor or coeditor of 25 books, including Invasive Alien Species: A New Synthesis (Island Press, 2005).
