Sadhana Ravishankar earned her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and is currently a research professor in the Department of Veterinary Science and Microbiology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Her research focuses on the stress response in foodborne pathogenic bacteria, including methods of pathogen control and natural antimicrobials.
