Ruoding Shi is a research associate in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia. She obtained a doctorate degree at Virginia Tech. Her professional goal is to improve the health outcomes of disadvantaged populations, especially those that experience a higher risk of poverty, social exclusion, and discrimination.
