Rodney Hayward is the director of the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Health Services Research & Development Center of Excellence and is a professor of public health and internal medicine at the University of Michigan. He was the 2005 recipient of the Under Secretary for Health Award for career accomplishments in health-services research.
