Robert Simcoe

Robert A. Simcoe is a Pappalardo Fellow in Physics@the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research on galaxies and intergalactic matter in the early universe often takes him to the twin 6.5-meter Magellan telescopes in the Chilean Atacama desert. He has also worked on the development of instrumentation for large, ground-based observatories, including the Palomar 200-inch Hale telescope.
