Robert Black is a research meteorologist with the Hurricane Research Division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Miami, Florida. He has principally been involved with aircraft studies of the precipitation, wind structure and electrical activity of hurricanes and Midwest mesoscale convective complexes.
