Randy Jirtle

Randy L. Jirtle is a professor of radiation oncology and associate professor of pathology@Duke University, where he has been a faculty member since 1977. A bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering and a doctorate in radiation biology both came from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His current research focuses on epigenetics, genomic imprinting and disease susceptibility. He is an enthusiastic gardener.
