W. Malcolm Byrnes is associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology@Howard University College of Medicine. His research is concerned with the structure and function of archaeal and bacterial metabolic enzymes. He currently is working on a book applying concepts from evolutionary and developmental biology and ecology to issues in bioethics and Christian theology.
