Paul S. Sutter

Paul S. Sutter is a professor of history at the University of Colorado Boulder. His current book project is an environmental and public health history of the construction of the Panama Canal. His other books include Let Us Now Praise Famous Gullies: Providence Canyon and the Soils of the South (University of Georgia Press, 2015) and Driven Wild: How the Fight Against Automobiles Launched the Modern Wilderness Movement (University of Washington Press, 2002).
