Paul Rabinow

Paul Rabinow is a professor of anthropology@the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of many books, including French DNA: Trouble in Purgatory (University of Chicago Press, 1999) and the forthcoming (with Talia Dan-Cohen) A Machine to Make a Future: Biotech Chronicles (Princeton University Press, 2004), about the founding and work of Celera Diagnostics, which is a joint venture between the Applied Biosystems Group and Celera Genomics Group of Applera Corporation.
