
Myles Jackson
Myles W. Jackson is associate professor of the history of science, director of humanities and chair of science studies@Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. His first book, Spectrum of Belief: Joseph von Fraunhofer and the Craft of Precision Optics (The MIT Press, 2000) received the Paul Bunge Prize from the German Chemical Association. His second book, Harmonious Triads: Physicists, Musicians and Instrument Makers in Nineteenth-Century Germany, will be published by The MIT Press in 2006.
