Teenie Matlock is McClatchy Chair in Communications and associate professor of cognitive science at the University of California, Merced. She has published over 50 articles that span linguistics, cognitive science and computer science, and is a standing member of the National Institutes of Health’s Language and Communication Study Section. She is the recipient of Sigma Xi’s 2011 Young Investigator Award.
