Michael Ruse is Lucyle T. Werkmeister Professor of Philosophy@Florida State University, and director of the program there in the history and philosophy of science. He is the author of a number of books, including Darwinism and its Discontents (Cambridge University Press, 2006), and is now writing a book showing that it is possible for a rational person both to be a Christian and to accept modern science.
