Michael Novacek is senior vice president, provost of science and curator in the Division of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He is the author of Time Traveler: In Search of Dinosaurs and Ancient Mammals from Montana to Mongolia (2002) and Dinosaurs of the Flaming Cliffs (1996).
