Lise Abrams

Lise Abrams earned a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology@the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1997. Now a professor of psychology@the University of Florida, Abrams is director of the Cognition and Aging Laboratory, where she studies memory, language and aging. In addition to tip-of-the-tongue states, Abrams is interested in the production of spelling errors and the detection of spelling errors during reading. She is an award-winning teacher and mentor and the 2007 recipient of the Sigma Xi Young Investigator Award. Address: Department of Psychology, University of Florida, P.O.
