Lev Zelenyi is the director of Institut Kosmicheskih Issledovani (IKI), the Space Research Institute at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, where he has worked since 1972. He is also the scientific leader of the Russian Lunar Program and the Russian part of the ExoMars (ESA-Roscosmos) and Resonance missions.
