Larry R. Squire is Research Career Scientist@the San Diego Veterans Affairs Healthcare System and Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry, Neurosciences and Psychology@the University of California, San Diego. His research concerns the structure and organization of memory, and he is the author of Memory and Brain (Oxford University Press, 1987). In 1999, he and Eric Kandel coauthored a book, Memory: From Mind to Molecules, which describes the modern achievements of memory research.
