Jay Yang is an associate professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology/Physiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. His research focuses on the physiology of neurotransmitter receptors and synaptic plasticity as they relate to neuropathic pain. He received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from Brown University in 1981 and his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1986.
