
James Sanderson
James G. Sanderson earned a doctorate in mathematics from the University of New Mexico in 1976. He has taught in the Department of Computing and Information Science at the University of New Mexico and in the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida, and more recently he has worked in a computer applications group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is currently a TEAM research scientist at Conservation International's Center for Applied Biodiversity Science. A landscape ecologist, he specializes in field research on small wildcats to better understand their conservation requirements. His other interests include quantitative ecology and landscape ecology.
