James F. Baur is president of Science Solutions, Inc., a technology transfer company based in San Diego. He is also active in science-related projects in the former Soviet Union and Mongolia. He is president of Sigma Xi for 2006-2007, and has served on the International Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors.
