David M. Pepper earned a PhD in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology, and earned a BS in Physics from the University of California Los Angeles, Summa Cum Laude. He was senior research scientist at HRL Laboratories in Malibu, California, for 31 years and is currently owner of Malibu Scientific. He is an inventor on 68 U.S. patents.
