Dr. Cyril Isenberg remains at the University of Kent since the writing of his 1988 American Scientist article and still gives his soap-film demonstrations about 50 times a year, to audiences that range from young people to members of learned societies. In 2008, Queen Elizabeth II made him a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his contributions to physics.
