Courtney Mattison uses art to explore and translate humanity’s relationship with marine ecosystems and the science of ocean conservation. She received an MA in environmental studies from Brown University, with coursework at the Rhode Island School of Design, and an interdisciplinary BA in marine biology and ceramics from Skidmore College.
