Arti K. Rai earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1987. She studied medicine for one year@Harvard Medical School and then entered Harvard Law School, graduating in 1991. She served on the faculty of the University of San Diego School of Law before moving to the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2000.
